FAQ’s
Does Tipsy supply the alcohol?
No, we are legally not able to sell you alcohol, but! That doesn’t mean we’re just going to leave you to it. We will be there to assist every step of the way. We will make sure to provide you with the resources, and shopping lists to ensure that you have enough of everything you need to accomodate your events beverage needs.

Where are you located?
We are on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Travel within the Sunshine Coast Region is included in our base package. But it would be a waste of our wheels to not be up for a road trip! If you would like Tipsy to travel to where your event is located, get in touch so we can discuss the details.

Can Tipsy serve coffee and tea?
Hell to the yes! We love cocktails, don’t get us wrong, but we love coffee and tea just as much. We serve locally roasted coffee, delicious hot chocolate, and locally sourced tea (shout out to the Davis Bay Tea Company!). We love to follow up an epic cocktail hour with coffee hour! This is a great option for dry daytime brunch events, baby showers, and coffee dessert functions. Ask about our coffee packages when you book!
—
What is the payment/refund policy?
We require a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. You will receive a full refund if you cancel more than 60 days from your event date, and 50% of your deposit if you cancel more than 30 days from your event. Cancellations made within 30 days of your event will not be refunded. The remaining payment is due by the event date.
—
Does Tipsy have a ‘raindate‘ policy?
Due to our advanced booking model, we can not accommodate rain dates. The host is responsible for tent cover of the bar in the event of inclement weather. We are happy to work within your tent vendor to find the appropriate sized tent for you event.
—
What are the technical requirements for Tipsy?
Tipsy requires flat ground for set up and service, and clear access for break down.
—
How far in advance should I book?
Well, that depends on how important the date itself is to you! During peak seasons (May - Sept), dates book up well in advance, but cancellations do happen, so it is always worth reaching out to see what we have available. BUT! That being said, earlier is always better.
